  1. Products have the ability to send a message to an individual or department when created. It would be great to have the ability to automatically create a task as well. This would need to have their own notification fields of who to create the task for.

  3. The property may need to ensure that all guests' information is filled during check-in due to regional requirements. Due to that, should any plans change from reservation creation to check-in regarding guest count, guests can't successfully check in if they initially booked for 2 people but only 1 person was able to show up.

    Make it possible to change occupation (guest count) on the kiosk last minute.

  5. Our Back of House staff needs the ability to see next-day activities in the Mews Operations app so that staff doesn't need to access the Mews Commander Dashboard on a laptop or phone when looking forward outside of today's operations.

  6. Split reservations - optional and confirmed

    at the moment, only in house reservations can be splitted. When a guest already books a room change, we have either to make two different reservations or block the spaces until the guest is checked in.

  7. When a guest e-mail address bounces, it would be helpful if and when a task is created in order to have a notification (and thus an actionable moment) for staff to verify and check the e-mail proactively, and not have the guest wait for an e-mail because of a typo...

  8. We are a small events venue with 22 guest rooms. When we get a wedding room block it is almost always for all rooms on property. When setting up a block, we add all 22 room categories one by one. We would really love it if there was a bulk add option all space categories to the block. Also helpful if there was a way to then allocate all available rooms in a category and not click on each category to adjust the number of spaces held.

  9. Implementation of a feature to automatically log-out signed-in employees after a certain amount of time, and additionally, a quick key to log out.
    In some cases, multiple employees work on one computer and forget to log out. A quick key to log out would make it easier.

  12. Make the "send marketing postal mail" option available alongside "send marketing emails" in the mews import file.

    Many hotels – including ours – are treating e-mail opt-in differently from postal opt-in and would like to import their customer information accordingly.

  13. It would be much needed to have an option to choose which age category to link to rate groups and products. Now we are forced to sell 0€ products and also package rates for children, even though they are not available for children. Very handy for booking engine and less confusion to end customer.

It would be useful if the "missed check out" status could be represented on the timeline by the reservation changing colour, similar to the "missed departure" status where the reservation changes to orange the day after they were supposed to check out. This could also be shown in the app. Currently the "missed check out" status can only be seen in the Reservations Overview Report.

  15. It is recommended to setup daily or even hourly exports of important reports to prepare for possible desasters. Only Enterprise Subscribers may choose and FTP Export Target. All others are limited to email exports. However, this way massive amounts of sensitive customer data is transmitted over possibly insecure connections (unencrypted email / SMTP). That could be a GDPR violation!
    I suggest making secure/encrypted sFTP Exports available for everyone and/or implement a way to guarantee secure email transmission (at least SMTPs with certifcate pinning).

  18. In the timeline, there is no neat separation between different room types leading to mistakes when moving around reservations. It would be helpful to have a gap in between or a thicker line to make the separation more clear.

  20. In the overview of all the products we have in the additional and bookable services, I really miss a column that shows which products are visible for employees. Or a possibility to filter those products only.
    Now I have to either enter each product to see if the option is selected or open a second screen as an employee to see what is visible.
